I am a Sergeant in the Marine Corps and a Combat Correspondent by trade. Though I love being a journalist, I also love to do creative writing.

Other than the Marine Corps, I love to read and exercise, which is one of the most important keys to a healthy life. I also like to sleep and watch movies. I have a practically brand new niece, and she's pretty important in my life, because she's the best baby ever. She's only nine months old, but she's as curious as a cat.

In August, I graduate with my BA in English and a minor in journalism from UMUC, and I go on to graduate school for public relations management. While I love to write, I also know it's a really compeitive market, so I have public relations to fall back on, if writing doesn't work out for me.
